“Go the Distance Walk” was held on May 3, 2015. It was organized by Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and benefits the Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. A.I. Friedman participated by setting up a craft table in the kids’ activity tent. Port Chester A.I. Friedman employees Valeria Valdez and Luis Nunez donated their time and helped the children create wind socks out of construction paper. Designs with colored pencils, markers and streamers were added to finish off the creations. The wind socks were a huge hit. A big thanks to Port Chester’s Judy Call for coming up with the great idea. People from all over attended the event including some from outer space. The “Force” was definitely with the Children’s Hospital that day!
