On Friday April 24th, ColArt representative Ann McCarthy was at A.I. Friedman’s Port Chester Store with local artist Laura Anechiarico. Together they put on a presentation of Liquitex products that was very informative. The well-attended event highlighted the new water based spray colors, paint markers and acrylic inks.
The audience was especially excited about the new products and the possibilities that they open up. Ann and Laura plan to return later this year with demos on watercolors and oils manufactured by Winsor & Newton.
The demonstration of Gamblin Oils on Saturday April 25th was also very informative. Sarah Becktel’s explanation of the application and properties of the oil paints was eye opening and easy to understand.
Many who attended commented that Sarah was “very knowledgeable and friendly” and “one of the best demonstrators they have had”. Those in attendance felt they had learned a lot of new information about the products.
