Hello. Most of you know me as the mild-mannered chap behind the Paper Counter at A.I. Friedman’s Manhattan location. But what passion fuels the man behind the counter, you may ask? Dogs.

By that I mean I’m an artist who specializes in commissioned animal portraiture; oil paintings and colored pencil drawings to be specific. Prismacolor colored pencils, Williamsburg oil paints, Ampersand art boards, Canson Mi-Tientes paper, and DaVinci brushes are all products used in my work and can be found in the aisles of A.I. Friedman. Below are a few samples of my work, and more can be seen on my website: http://www.qualityanimalart.com

So take a gander, like me on Facebook, or stop by the store. Oh, and be sure to bring your four-legged friends in to say “Hi!”.

” Mild Manner Chap” ? That’s an understatement. You are the coolest cucumber I’ve ever met. You have a nice ” calming effect ” and demeanor about you and I appreciate your help always. I enjoyed your wonderful artwork. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing it.
